Internship & Site Experience

Learning on Site. Growing Through Real Construction Work.

My civil engineering journey has taken me from observing site activities during internships to taking responsibility for day-to-day work as a Site Engineer. Each project has taught me something that drawings and textbooks alone cannot.

My approach

Engineering becomes real when the plan reaches the site.

On site, I have learned to look beyond a drawing: understand the sequence of work, check dimensions and quantities, coordinate with the team, and keep records that help the next activity move forward.

I am still learning every day. I try to ask the right questions, verify details before work proceeds, and connect what I learned during my diploma and B.Tech with actual construction conditions.

What matters to me: safe execution, clear communication, accurate records, and being dependable when the site team needs information.
What I have built experience in

From site observation to daily responsibility

My experience has gradually expanded across site coordination, quantity estimation, RCC activities, quality documentation, and material tracking.

Every Site Has Taught Me Something

Different projects have given me different perspectives on planning, execution, quality, and coordination.

Site Engineer — Nexa Futurity LLP

Feb 2026 – Present
Nexa Prime Project · Residential & Commercial Building · Mahad, Maharashtra

In my current role, I support day-to-day execution on a G+7 project and help keep site activities, quantities, and records organised.

  • Coordinate site activities related to RCC work, including reinforcement and shuttering checks before concrete pours.
  • Prepare quantity calculations and material requirements to support upcoming work.
  • Maintain daily progress reports, concrete quantity sheets, cube-testing records, site photographs, and attendance records.
  • Support material and inventory tracking and coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and the site team.
  • Review structural and service drawings to understand upcoming work and identify coordination points.

Civil Engineering Intern — CKC Hub

Jun – Aug 2023
G+10 Commercial & Residential Building · Mahad, Maharashtra

This internship introduced me to the pace and coordination of a multi-storey construction site. I gained practical exposure to column and plinth-beam activities and began connecting construction drawings with work happening on site.

Site Engineering Intern — Government School Project

Jun – Aug 2024
Civil Construction Project · Mahad, Maharashtra

This experience broadened my exposure to site engineering and the practical coordination needed to carry out construction activities. It helped strengthen my understanding of how workmanship, sequencing, and communication affect progress on site.

How I contribute

Practical Work I Take Seriously

I value the small checks and records that help a construction site run more smoothly.

⌖

Before the Pour

Review reinforcement and shuttering conditions, understand the drawing requirements, and raise coordination points before concrete work proceeds.

▦

Quantities That Support Decisions

Calculate quantities and material requirements so the team has a clearer picture of what the next activity needs.

✓

Records That Stay Useful

Keep daily progress, concrete, cube-testing, attendance, photographs, and material records organised for reference and follow-up.

“Good site engineering is not only about getting the work done. It is about understanding the work, checking the details, communicating clearly, and keeping a reliable record.”
